Requirements
The first thing to expect when hiring Codelux to create your swish new site is a meeting to discuss your requirements so we can get an idea of what you want from your new site. We'll discuss things like what information you want on your site, the features it should have, any ideas you have for how it should look visually. Once we've come up with some requirements that you're happy with we can move on to creating a mockup! These requirements can be changed at any time in the process, you just need to let us know and we'll accommodate them accordingly!
Development
Once you're happy with the mockup we can start developing the site. We'll put the site onto a staging server and share the link with you so you'll get to review our work all throughout the development process to make sure it's going in the direction you had envisioned.
Testing
The next step is to put the new site to the test! We'll test the site in all the major modern desktop browsers as well as on iOS and Android phones. During this stage we'll also make sure the site is optimised as much as possible to give it the best page speed to give you that extra boost in the SEO rankings!
Once we've completed testing and we're happy we've created a quality product for you, we'll pass it over to you for the final review before it goes live.
Deployment
The final step in the process is to get your shiny new site deployed onto the world wide web! The first thing to do would be to sort out a domain name if you don't already own one, you can check if your desired domain name is available on sites such as 123-Reg and Namecheap. After the domain name is sorted, we'll work on getting your site set up on our servers and updating your domain settings to point to the new server.
We use Laravel Forge to streamline our deployments. One of the features of Laravel Forge allows us to deploy all the files that make up your site to the server directly from the git repository. This means that whenever we make updates to your site we have a history of all those changes, so if we need to go back to a previous version of the site, it's a very quick and simple process.
Once your site has gone live, we can provide you with training on how to update all the content so you can keep it up to date with the latest info. We also offer three months free support which includes minor changes and any fixes for bugs which may have been missed during testing.
